Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday claimed that objective of new education policy anunced by Centre is to implement "nda of RSS".

A government which is destroying social amity, cultural values and principles of Constitution, and t learning any lessons, can achieve thing by changing education policy or name of a ministry, he said. "thing will happen with this," Yadav added.

BJP should t "politicise future of children", Yadav said. "Education should be such that secures future of students," he added.

Union Cabinet approved National Education Policy 2020 on Wednesday. This is first education policy of 21st century and replaces thirty-four-year-old National Policy on Education (NPE), 1986.

Yadav also targeted ruling Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh, saying it has t initiated any new scheme and has only renamed those launched by previous SP government.

"BJP's act is w open to all, and even its MPs and MLAs have started raising ir voices against ir own government," Yadav said, adding that resentment is brewing among people's representatives due to anti-people policies of government.
