Slamming Lalu Prasad Yadav's autobiography - 'Gopalganj to Raisina: My Political Journey', senior BJP Leader and Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister, Sushil Kumar Modi has said on Saturday, that the book contained a lot of factual mistakes.

"I have gone through the autobiography. It's such a poorly written book. I must have found at least 100 factual mistakes in the first four chapters," said Modi.

The book which was released ten days ago is co-authored by senior journalist Nalin Sharma.  In his memoir, the incarcerated Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief has revealed that after just six months since the 'mahagathbandhan' broke up in 2015 and JD(U) tied up with BJP to form the government in Bihar, Nitish Kumar had sent his emissary Prashant Kishor to him with the proposal to join hands with the RJD again. This was then repeated by his wife, Rabri Devi on Friday.

"If Kishor denies having met Prasad with such a proposal, he is speaking a "blatant lie", she said.

"I got infuriated and asked him to go away as I had no trust left in Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar following his betrayal," the RJD national vice-president, who is also the leader of the opposition in the legislative council, told a regional news channel in Bihar.

Sushil Kumar Modi refused to comment on Rabri Devi's claim and reiterated the BJP's strong alliance with the JD(U) saying:

"When Prashant Kishor has himself come out with his denial, the BJP has nothing to say about it," said Modi.

Earlier, in an interview a few months ago, Sushil Modi had said that he was close to Lalu Yadav at some point in time.

"I have known Lalu Yadav from close quarters. I know him better than his wife does," said the BJP leader who was once a part of the emergency movement of 1974 and shared jail time with the now incarcerated RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav.
