Nitish Kumar

Nitish Kumar, Chief Minister of Bihar, initially worked with the Bihar State Electricity Board before joining the Janata Party in 1974. His political journey included roles such as President of the Yuva Lok Dal in Bihar and Secretary-General of the Janata Dal. He served multiple terms in the Lok Sabha, holding positions like Union Minister of State for Agriculture. Moreover, He became the Chief Minister of Bihar in 2000, with subsequent terms in 2005, 2010, 2015, and 2020. He stepped down in 2014 but returned in 2015. He was elected for an eighth term as the CM in November 2020.
