AAP to start campaigning for Delhi Legislative Assembly elections
The Aam Aadmi Party will start campaigning for the upcoming Delhi Legislative Assembly soon, party leader Gopal Rai said on Sunday

The Aam Aadmi Party will start campaigning for the upcoming Delhi Legislative Assembly from November 18 until December 24, party leader Gopal Rai said.
AAP to start campaigning for Assembly elections
"The preparations for Delhi Legislative Assembly elections are in full swing. We will begin campaigning on November 18 and it will go on till December 24, Jan Samvad (Public dialogue) would be conducted at 14,000 booths. This will be the fourth phase of campaigning in which legislators will engage in dialogue with the public. The legislators will conduct a dialogue on four to five booths in a single day," he added.

BJP chairs meeting
Earlier, BJP working President JP Nadda held a meeting with senior party leaders to discuss the upcoming Delhi Legislative Assembly elections. BL Santosh, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar, national vice-president Shyam Jaju, Union Minister Harsh Vardhan, Hardeep Singh Puri, Meenakshi Lekhi, Manoj Tiwari, Hans Raj Hans, and Vijay Goel were also present at the meeting.

These elections will remain a test for the Arvind Kejriwal government who has been combating the severe Air pollution in the city. Meanwhile, the BJP has time and again slammed the Kejriwal government for failing to combat Air Pollution. In its 2015 campaign, the BJP had Smriti Irani and the former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj hit the campaign trail addressing several rallies in South and North West Delhi. As a part of its campaign, the BJP also released a series of newspaper advertisements targeting the Aam Aadmi Party.
The 2015 Delhi Legislative assembly saw the Aam Aadmi Party secured an absolute majority in the assembly, winning 67 of the 70 seats. The rallies and roadshows of Arvind Kejriwal while campaigning in 2015 were a great success, drawing large enthusiastic crowds.
