Hema Malini hails PM Modi in Haryana, says country is in 'safe hands'

BJP’s MP from Mathura, Hema Malini, in a speech during the election campaign in Haryana reassured the people that the country is in the “safe hands” with PM Modi. She has been campaigning for her party candidates in Haryana for the upcoming assembly elections that are scheduled to take place on Monday, October 21. During one of her addresses on Friday, she was seen heaping praises for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Hema Malini addressed poll rallies in Palwal and Mahendergarh and held a roadshow in Punhana at the Mewat region in the evening.
BJP’s target in Haryana
According to PTI, BJP has a target to win 75 seats in the Haryana assembly that has a total number of 90 seats. In the last few days, many star campaigners from the BJP party have visited Haryana to seek votes. This list includes Prime Minister Modi himself, Union Home Minister and BJP chief Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, besides Smriti Irani, Ravi Shankar Prasad, and V K Singh, among others.

‘We will not get another PM like him’
Hema Malini, while speaking about PM Modi, said, “Ten to fifteen years ago, there was a time when I used to think what will happen to this country...Then Modi came, he led the country on the path of development, he changed the image of the country world over, which no other PM could. We will not get another Prime Minister like him. The country is in safe hands, so let it remain there (in safe hands)". The actor-turned-politician also made an appeal to the voters saying that they should not make a "wrong decision" by "connecting with any other party". Warning the people for not choosing another party, she added, "You will make your life unhappy".

Hema Malini’s campaign for the candidates
The actor-turned-politician supported the senior leader and Haryana Minister Ram Bilas Sharma in the Mahendergarh constituency while addressing a rally. Later in the day, she also campaigned for BJP's Nauksham Chaudhary in Punhana in the Mewat region via a roadshow. She praised the Manohar Lal Khattar-led BJP government in Haryana as well and hailed them for providing a clean and transparent administration and giving jobs on merit.
