Bihar: Nitish Kumar launches poll campaign, ridicules RJD over '10 lakh job sanction' claim

Launching poll campaign for the JD(U), Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday ridiculed the RJD's claim of approving 10 lakh government jobs at the very first cabinet on coming to power and wondered whether cabinet meetings were held properly during the 15 years of its rule.

Launching poll campaign for JD(U), Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday ridiculed RJD's claim of approving 10 lakh government jobs at very first cabinet on coming to power and wondered wher cabinet meetings were held properly during 15 years of its rule. He, however, did t take any name while making light of assertion of opposition party on this count. 

RJD's chief ministerial candidate Tejashwi Yav h recently anunced that if Grand Alliance heed by his party comes to power, 10 lakh government jobs will be sanctioned in very first cabinet meeting.  "Did cabinet meetings take place properly during ir time?" he asked.

Virtually dressing party workers and voters of 11 Assembly constituencies that will go to vote in first phase on October 28, Kumar highlighted achievements of his governments during his three terms as CM since 2005, and compared those with work done during 15-year rule before that.

RJD was in power in Bihar from 1990 to 2005. Kumar said that he would dress ar virtual rally on Tuesday for some or constituencies that will see voting in first round.

Altoger 71 constituencies will be held in Bihar's first phase of Assembly election. From Wednesday onwards, he would start touring different constituencies to seek votes for NDA candidates.

Seeking to set "15 years vs 15 years" as poll narrative for present elections, Kumar urged people to judge developmental work done during two equal periods and n vote.

JD(U) president said that if voters give him ar chance, his government would unroll "Saat Nischay" (Seven resolves) part II, to take up more developmental programmes in state.

Seven resolves part I, launched by Nitish Kumar ministration for its 2015-20 term, comprised seven schemes to ensure basic necessities such as supply of piped drinking water, construction of toilets and concrete drains and electricity connection to every household. Most of projects have been completed.

Its second part will focus on enhancing skill of youths to brighten ir jobs' prospect, promoting entrepreneurship among women by providing m financial assistance, irrigation facility to every agriculture field and ditional health facilities for people and animals.

For enhancing skills of youths, a separate skill development department would be formed if NDA is voted to power, he ded.
