The real-life couple Ajay Devgn and Kajol are reuniting for a new movie. The movie produced by the actor is the cinematic retelling of The Battle of Sinhagadh. The movie titled Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior will have the real-life couple play partners on-screen. While the fans of the couple are awaiting their reunion, let us have a look at the actors' real-life love story.

The first meeting:

The actors first met on the sets of Anees Bazmee's 1995 release Hulchul. In an interview, Kajol expressed how unimpressed she was with Devgn's personality. She remembers how disturbed she was with his quiet personality, and especially his habit of smoking. But subconsciously, she knew Devgn would play an important role in her life. 

Start of a new relationship:

Gradually, the two became close friends; so much that Kajol started asking relationship advice from Ajay. Kajol in an interview revealed the couple started dating on the sets on Gundaraaj. The couple dated for four long years till they made it official on February 24, 1999. The actors tied the knot in a private ceremony. The couple is happily married for 19 years now, with two kids - Nysa and Yug. Before the boom of social media, catching a glimpse of the Devgn family was a rare sight. But due to social media and the actors' active participation on it, netizens are getting their daily dose of the family's personal life.
