Bala Movie: What will the roles of Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar be?

Ayushmann Khurrana is one of the best talents that Bollywood has to offer the audience in today’s date. The actor has been successfully delivering back-to back-hits. Khurrana’s last movie was Dream Girl alongside Nushrat Bharucha.

Bala is Ayushmann Khurrana's third movie in 2019

His upcoming movie Bala will release on November 15, 2019. Ayushmann will be playing the role of a character that suffers from premature balding. Alongside Ayushmann, the movie will star Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam.

Bala is Ayushmann’s third movie with Bhumi Pednekar. The two have come together for Dum Laga Ke Haisha in 2015 and then in Shubh Mangal Savdhaan in the year 2017. The pairing is loved by the audience. According to a report by a leading daily, Bhumi will be playing the character of a small-town girl in Bala. Her character is educated and reportedly has a dusky look. In an interview with an entertainment website, Bhumi talked about how she and Ayushmann share their love of slice-of-life films and how she is excited to work with the actor for the third time. She also claimed that the love from the previous two films has made her confident about Bala and that it will be another fun movie to watch.

Yami Gautam and Ayushmann Khurrana debuted in Bollywood together the 2012 movie Vicky Donor. The movie deals with the themes of sperm donation and infertility. Yami will be playing the role of a supermodel in Bala. Her character is based on the city of Lucknow. In conversation with a media portal, Yami shared that she felt an instant connection with the script of Bala as she read it.

The director of the movie is Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan. Dinesh has previously directed the movie Stree in 2018. Vijen shared his excitement in an article with a newspaper daily. He said that last year during the same time they were shooting for Stree and it feels surreal to him that this year they are shooting for another. He called Bala movie entertaining, witty and lovable.
