In recent months, Bollywood has been going through a tough phase and new releases are struggling to mint good numbers at the box office. If 2023 was a great year for Bollywood which concluded with films like Jawan, Animal and Dunki among others, the industry has made 2024 the worst year, that no one could ever imagine.
2024 started off with Fighter, which was followed by a series of failures including big budget films like Maidaan and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.

Bollywood’s worst opening weekend grossers in 2024
Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha and Ulajh which hit the big screens on August 2 this year couldn’t strike the chord with the audience and have emerged as the worst openers of Bollywood in 2024.

Janhvi Kapoor starrer Ulajh on its opening weekend has collected ₹ 4.90 crore, while Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha minted ₹6.37 crore.
