Numerous Bollywood films have had an environmental issue as ir sub-plot. Films such as Tum Mile and Kedarnath, among ors, picturise  problem of floods. Whereas Waqt and Kai Po Che! highlights consequences of natural calamities such as an earthquake. Kadvi Hawa 

 Nila Madhab Panda directorial released in 2017, starring critically acclaimed actors Sanjay Mishra, Ranvir Shorey, and Tillotama Shome among ors. film throws light on state of farmers and consequences faced by m due to climatic changes. Bhopal Express

Bhopal Express is a biography-drama based on Bhopal gas trdy of 1984. film stars  Kay Kay Men, Nethra Raghuraman, and Zeenat Aman in lead. Actor Naseeruddin Shah also essayed a significant character in film. director Mahesh Mathai bagged a few international awards for film. story revolves around a newlywed couple whose lives are changed after lethal gas trdy in Bhopal, India in 1984. film explores irresponsible methods of big organisations and effects of ir actions on residents. story has been crafted through perspective of a newlywed couple and ir friends as y try to pick up ir lives after trdy.

Jal 

Girish Malik directorial Jal is a romantic drama set in Rann of Katch. lead characters of this 2014 release were portrayed by  Purab Kohli, Tannishtha Chatterjee, and Kirti Kulhari. literal translation of Jal is water, and film revolves around same. With backdrop of water scarcity, film tells a complex story of love, relationships, enmity, deceit and circumstances highlighting dark side of human character.  film also bagged many national awards.
