Chhichhore stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor in pivotal roles and even as the reviews flow in for the movie, the audience is abuzz with the 'typical' hostel life that the Bollywood flick aims to show on-screen. The movie is directed by Nitesh Tiwari, who rose to fame after he directed the movie Dangal. The Chhicchore cast includes Shraddha Kapoor, Sushant Singh Rajput, Nalneesh Neel, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Varun Sharma, Naveen Polishetty and Prateik Babbar in important roles. The Sajid Nadiadwala and Fox Star entertainment production hit the theatres on 6^th September 2019, and the script revolves around the life of seven college friends from 1992 to the current day.

Right from clothes to adult magazines and unwanted advice to a pouring ones heart out on bad experiences-- college friends have seen it all. Discussing Formal Matters in Informal Settings

There is a very important scene in the trailer where Tahir Bhasin conducts an informal meeting to discuss their win in the next competition. Though the setting is completely informal, the matter at hand is anything but unimportant. The whole class seems to be present for one of these meetings. Tahir Bhasin is conducting the meeting and his speech is followed by a thunderous response from his classmates.What is the takeaway here? That college days didn't require the formality of a setting to discuss important matters. 

Borderline Cringe-worthy nicknames

The whole idea of having cringe-worthy nicknames depicts hostel life perfectly. Everyone can relate to that corny tag that they gave or were given in their college days. We have no control over what our friends decide to name us, and Chhichhore's trailer reinforces just that. For example, Tushar Pandey’s character in the movie is named Mummy, Naveen Polishetty is Acid and Saharsh Kumar Shukla is Bevda and it is said that these nicknames stay with them throughout the movie.

College and hostel life is a huge part of the movie and the Chhicchore cast seems to have accurately pulled it off in terms of getting the ethos of the script right. Netting Rs. 7.32 crore on its opening day, Chhichhore's collections at the box office by Day 3 was at Rs. 35.98 crore. Irrespective of varied opinions of critics, the overall verdict on Chhichhore's movie review has been that it is sure to give the audience a strong bout of nostalgia from their hostel and college days. The movie is a comedy-drama that, movie goers say, will make you feel a spectrum of emotions. The movie deals with complex issues including suicide and is a healthy dose of laughter mixed with a few tears.
