Farhan Akhtar has been a part of the Bollywood film industry since 1991, when he was an assistant director for the movie Lamhe. He is the son of the legendary lyricist and composer Javed Akhtar and actor Shabana Azmi. Akhtar is extremely multi-talented, as he has worked as a producer, director, composer, lyricist, singer, and actor. The actor was married to Adhuna Bhabani, but the two separated ways in 2016.

Farhan seems to be a very attentive father. He keeps posting pictures of his daughters on his social media. In a recent post on Instagram, Farhan shared a picture of Shakya and Akira. The two can be seen with bubble wrap in their hands. He talked about how popping bubble wrap can be a part of little pleasures in life.

Farhan Akhtar wished his daughters a ‘Happy Daughters Day’ on his Instagram. He shared a cute selfie with the two and also gushed about his love for them. He wrote in the caption that he loves them ‘to the moon and back.’

Farhan Akhtar recently played the role of a father to a son and a daughter, played by actors Rohit Saraf and Zaira Wasim, in his latest film. The movie The Sky Is Pink is out in theatres and has successfully collected around 15.40 crore. The movie also stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas. It is directed by Shonali Bose.
