While city of Patna in Bihar continued to reel under incessant floods, Bollywood biggie Hrithik Roshan took this opportunity to put out a heartfelt tweet condoling those suffering in natural disaster which has been wreaking havoc in State and taking incent lives. Hrithik Roshan took to Twitter to extend sympathies to those affected by Bihar floods while hoping that situation will soon be reverted back to rmalcy.

Roshan's film War hits a milestone

As Roshan-starrer War hit  box office today, film trade analyst Komal Nahta took to Twitter to express that 'War' topped charts for total of adance bookings at box office. As per Nahta, film has sold 4.05 lakh advance tickets which has been best ever. Hrithik Roshan had in his previous film Super 30 essayed role of mamatician Anand Kumar, founder of educational program Super 30 in Bihar, and had closely worked within confines of State.

Torrential rainfall in Patna

While monsoons came to a halt in Maharashtra, flood rav continued to plunder or parts of India. Quoted as worst rainfall experienced in 25 years, pounding rains in Patna did t only destroy houses but also took lives with death toll amounting to almost 148 in country with Bihar recording death of almost 29 in its State. While onslaught of rain continued throughout past week, provisions in way of food and or amenities were airdropped to victims stuck in submerged areas in Patna.

Patna was worst affected with life coming to a standstill for its citizens. heavy rains implored shutting down of schools and colleges. More than 4,000 people, including women and children, were rescued from flood-affected areas of Patna on September 30 by NDRF. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on Sunday had requested Indian Air Force (IAF) for two helicopters for lifting and airdropping food packets and medicines, in flood-affected areas of region. Dewatering machines were also sought by State to provide relief in flood-affected areas.
