‘I've always wanted to’: Priyanka Chopra talks about motherhood ahead of Mother’s Day

Two months after her wedding with Nick Jonas, Priyanka Chopra’s pregnancy reports became the talk of the town after certain photographs went viral in February. The actress’ mother Madhu Chopra had then denied them and called it a case of ‘bad angle’. However, the denial doesn’t mean that Peecee won’t have children in the future. Ahead of Mother’s Day to be celebrated worldwide on Sunday, the ‘Desi Girl’ stated that starting a family with her singer-actor husband is very much on the cards.

In a recent interview in the USA, Priyanka was asked if she plans to become a mother someday. The ‘Mary Kom’ star answered that she always wanted to and added that when ‘God wants it to happen,’ it will. 

Both Priyanka and Nick have been forthright in their plans to go the family way. The former had even stated two months before her wedding that she needs to ‘catch up’ when told about her friends, like Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle, who recently welcomed a baby, among others gearing up for motherhood.

Priyanka and Nick got hitched in a grand ceremony in Jodhpur according to Christian and Hindu rituals on December 1 and 2 last year. Since then, the duo has been couple goals with their adorable posts for each other and intense PDA.  

The couple even featured together in the Jonas Brothers’ reunion track video ‘Sucker’. ‘Nickyanka’ recently made headlines for their interesting Met Gala looks, that even sparked a flurry of memes.
