Jhund: All you need to know about Amitabh Bachchan's upcoming movie

Jhund, an upcoming biographical sports drama featuring Amitabh Bachchan will mark the directorial debut of Nagraj Manjule in Bollywood. Read the details.

Since 2019, the making of the film Jhund has been in process. After winning millions of hearts after the film ‘Sairat’, filmmaker Nagraj Manjule is all set for his next movie, Jhund, starring Amitabh Bachchan as the lead. The film marks Big B's first collaboration with Manjule. In December 2018, Bachchan started shooting for the film. On 19 February 2019, Taran Adarsh shared the first post on twitter.

The 'Shahenshah' actor posted his photo on his Twitter handle from the airport and said, "striding out of the end of another... last shots for tonight for JHUND." In the picture, the actor can be seen wearing a casual look with a zipper and white shoes.

The movie Jhund is said to be inspired by true events. Bachchan plays a coach in the film who motivates street kids and initiates a slum soccer team. The movie was to release in September but was delayed for unknown reasons. It has now been decided that the film is all set to release on December 13, 2019. The film is likely to clash with other films such as Pati Patni Aur Woh, Panipat, Dabangg 3, and Good Newwz.
