As per reports, during Kenneth Babyface Edmonds' Instagram Live battle with Teddy Riley ( writer of In Closet), former spilled  beans about time when Michael Jackson replaced Monna with Naomi Campbell for his song In Closet. In between live session, Babyface recalled what Jackson h told him. Michael Jackson h exclaimed to Babyface that Monna wanted him to dress like a girl.

Moreover, Beat it singer also reportedly ranted that he would never ever do that. Furrmore, in same chat, Jackson revealed that Monna was trying to change it all up and that it was crazy. American record producer n went on to mention that Michael Jackson was really m about it and it led to a point where he decided to replace Monna with Naomi Campbell.

However, later it did happen that In Closet was produced by MJ and Teddy Riley and was released in 1992 as third single of Jackson's eighth album, Dangerous. In Closet was penned down and produced by Jackson and Teddy Riley. Reports also have it that it became album's third consecutive 'top ten' pop single, which reached number six on US Billboard Hot 100.

For unversed, reports state that Michael Jackson h recruited Monna’s help with regards to framing ideation of In Closet. y also met up in Michael’s private room in back of studio during spring 1991, but ultimately ir ideas crashed to being combined into a song that Jackson was comfortable writing, as per reports. In an old 1992 interview, Monna revealed that she h started writing words, got ideas and stuff and also that she presented m to him, but Michael Jackson did t like any.
