After dazzling audiences with his performance in Notebook, alongside Sanya Malhotra. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is back with a rib-tickling film with Athiya Shetty titled as Motichoor Chaknachoor. In the film, Siddiqui is portraying the role of a man who hails from a small town and whose only aim is to tie the knot. Athiya, playing the role of Annie will marry on only one condition, that is if the man is NRI. In the trailer, it becomes quite clear that she marries Pushpinder (Nawzuddin) thinking that he is settled in Dubai, not knowing that he has now permanently returned to India. The major confusion then leads to a series of hilarious events, that is sure to make you chuckle!. Watch the trailer of the films below-

Motichoor Chaknachoor will be the directorial debut of a popular television director Debamitra Hassan. Siddiqui shared a picture of him during the shoot of the film. In the photo, he is dressed in a sherwani with a sehera along with a kid. The actors had reportedly undergone language and accent training during their shooting schedules in Bhopal and Lucknow. An interesting fact about the film is that it is speculated that the writer of the film Meghvrat Singh Gurjar worked on the script for three years to make it an air-tight comedy.

Nawaz Siddiqui's other projects: 

Recently, the makers of Housefull 4 dropped the trailer of the film and the glimpse of Nawaz's character in the trailer caught the eyes of the audience. Nawaz is working on multiple projects. The actor also shared the poster of his upcoming movie titled Roam Rome Mein. Athiya Shetty, who was last seen in Mubarakan (2017), is reportedly working on an upcoming Punjabi film Phatte Dinde Chakk Punjabi which is scheduled to release in June 2020.
