New mom Alia Bhatt 'hit hard' by Rani Mukerji's performance in Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway

Alia Bhatt reviewed Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway. She said that the film moved her and her mother, Soni Razdan, to tears. She watched the film in Mumbai.

Alia Bhatt heaped praise on Rani Mukerji’s Mrs Chatterjee Vs rway.  Brahmastra star watched film on Saturday night with her mor Soni Razdan and sister Shaheen Bhatt in Mumbai. Alia said that she and her family members spent night crying and called Rani "brilliant" in film.

In Instagram story, Alia posted three screenshots from film and praised Rani’s performance. Highway actress said that story needed to be told, adding that because of her newly found morhood, film impacted her significantly more. She wrote, “Rani ma’am - re’s one like you,” and added that she was "transfixed and transported right by (her) side from rway to India.” She concluded post by applauding team of Mrs Chatterjee Vs rway and also praised co-actor Jim Sarbh.

Mrs Chatterjee Vs rway is directed by Ashima Chibber. It details story of Sagarika Bhattacharya, who penned her experiences in book, Journey of a Mor. film also features actors Jim Sarbh, Neena Gupta and Anirban Bhattacharya in supporting roles. 

In reality, Sagarika relocated to rway with her family, and her children ended up being placed in foster care by rway’s Ministry of Children and Families. She was n told that her children are to remain under foster care until y turn 18. film is an adaptation of Sagarika’s struggle and eventual victory to secure custody of her children. It was released in atres on March 17, 2023.
