Parineeti Chopra who is currently promoting her latest film, 'Jabariya Jodi' recently faced backlash from social media when she said that only reason she does t speak about pay parity is that she makes it up by doing brand vertisements and shoots. In a recent interview, actress was quoted saying, "Always felt like I deserved a little bit more but I got this much but we do make it up with endorsements. Girls do a lot of endorsements. So, we kind of makes it up re. That is why I never talk about it because boys don't do as many endorsements as girls do - and I hope I'm right and t wrong. But we do so many like beauty commercials, hair commercials, I think we kind of cover it up with that."

actress' reaction towards pay parity did t sit well with netizens. One Twitter user wrote: "So basically you are working more to 'make up' for lesser pay. She said it herself... But couldn't hear herself it seems" while ar sarcastically commented: "Who cares about pay parity when you can do beauty and hair commercials.". Re some reactions below:

Sidharth's character name was also revealed as Abhay whereas it turned out that Parineeti's was Bubli. As for what to expect from flick, makers have alrey informed er viewers that it will be a romantic comedy and apparently Sid will be playing a Bihari thug.  film is directed by Prashant Singh and is jointly produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, and Shailesh R. Singh.
