Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas Wedding: From Paul Jonas Officiating The Rituals To Families Raising A Toast, All Inside Details Revealed

Priyanka Chopra became Mrs PCJ, Priyanka Chopra-Jonas, as the team of her next film ‘The Sky is Pink’ had addressed her, by tying the knot with Nick Jonas in Jodhpur on Saturday, 1 December. While the couple confirmed the news by sharing pictures from the Mehendi ceremony, fans are waiting with bated breath for the photographs from their special day. Not much is known except for the fact that Peecee wore a custom Ralph Lauren white gown for the Christian ceremony and her husband was dressed in a purple label tuxedo. And now reports of all the happenings at the wedding have now surfaced. 

Nick Jonas’ father Paul Kevin Jonas Sr officiated the ceremony according to the Christian rituals. Priyanka walked on a bed of flowers to the wedding venue and as per reports, the venue was beautifully decorated with white flowers. 50 kgs of flowers were specially arranged. The invitees cheered as the couple kissed after the completion of the rituals.

Well-wishers of the family raised a toast to the couple, with the actress’ mother Madhu Chopra, brother Siddharth and cousin Parineeti sharing their thoughts about the bride and the marriage. Even Nick’s parents took to the stage to share unknown facts and secrets about the groom, which made the guests laugh out loud. The ceremony concluded with the entire gathering enjoying a cocktail dinner. 

As far as the other details related to the nuptials are concerned, the security was extremely high at the venue. The guests had to show their invitation cards to gain an entrance to the venue. They were welcomed with traditional Rajasthani music and dance performance and a glass of champagne. The welcome kit for them included silver coins bearing the images of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha. It also included information guides on the city and the rituals taking place, which were reported before. The NP sign was set up at various locations, including at the hair and make-up room and the pop-up store of designer clothes, which had also gone viral before.

Buzz is that the couple has struck a deal for the pictures with a leading magazine for 2.5 million dollars.  Veteran make-up artiste Mickey Contractor has reportedly stated that he signed a non-disclosure agreement when contacted on the details of the wedding. 

Priyanka and Nick will tie the knot according to Hindu customs at the same venue on 2 December. They will later host two receptions, one each in Mumbai and Delhi.
