Rakul Preet Singh is one of the most promising upcoming artists of the Indian film industry. She has done a plethora of films in the South Indian industry and has managed to land some interesting roles in Bollywood. The Yaariyan actor who was a beauty pageant contender is known for having an impeccable sense of fashion. She recently walked the ramp for ace designer duo Shantanu and Nikhil and donned one of their white dresses.
Showstoppers at the fashion show
Donning a white full-length gown, the glamorous beauty made the audience fall in love with her elegance and poise. The dress had a shimmering embroidery on the upper half part of the dress. The V-neckline of the dress was heavily bejewelled and added to the beauty of the attire, while the lower half of the dress was free-flowing. Rakul wore a silver-coloured hand gear in just her left hand and kept her make up to a minimum. Her hair was left open in effortless waves that enhanced the beauty of the attire.
Apart from Rakul Preet Singh, actors Aparshakti Khurrana and Arjun Rampal also walked the ramp as showstoppers for the duo. Arjun Rampal wore an all-black attire with the same coloured semi-traditional jacket. The attire was a perfect blend of Indian and western style of clothing. The golden design on his chest highlighted the outfit perfectly. Aparshakti too wore a dark coloured Indo-western attire, however, he seemed to have a more westernised appeal to his look.
The three actors set the stage ablaze with their grace and grandeur. Designer duo Shantanu and Nikhil received a huge round of applause from the audience, and the netizens praised them for the designs online. According to the official social media handle of the designers, the designs are chic and modern. It was also revealed in the post that collection was a ‘fusion of vintage craftsmanship and structured silhouettes’. The fashion show was held at the IIFA 2019 award function.
