Sonam K Ahuja enjoyed a perfect run at the box office over a period of four years, but her last two films turned out to be reverses. While Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga was an average grosser, the actor tasted a failure with her last release The Zoya Factor. The Prem Ratan Dhan Payo star would seek to redeem herself, and who better than working with someone, known to deliver impressive characters for the female actors. As per reports, she is all set to feature in Sujoy Ghosh’s next, though the filmmaker is only backing the project as a producer. The movie, is reportedly, all set to go on floors soon.

New collaboration

It was in September this year that reports of Sonam K Ahuja working in Sujoy Ghosh’s next had surfaced. It was then reported that the filmmaker has acquired the rights of the South Korean film Blind. Reports claimed that Shome Majhika, Sujoy Ghosh’s associate director, will helm the project.

The latest buzz surrounding the movie, is that prep for the movie is going well and the shooting could begin by the start of next year. Viacom 18 has also reportedly joined on board the film as producers. The plot of the Korean film Blind revolved around a blind woman getting involved in the investigation of a hit-and-run case. An official confirmation is awaited and the rest of the cast members will soon be announced, as per reports.
