Sonu Nigam feels 'immensely talented' Wajid Khan never got his due, recalls fond memories
Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam spoke to a local daily about the late music composer Wajid Khan who succumbed to COVID-19 at a hospital in the city on Monday.

Wajid Khan's death has left an imprint in music industry as many from fraternity expressed ir shock and disbelief on news of music director's death on Monday. One of first to confirm Wajid Khan's death was Sonu Nigam who took to social media and wrote, "my bror Wajid left us" along with a throwback photo with him. Nigam also spoke about his memories with late music director in his interaction with a local daily and said that Wajid did t get his due given immense talent that he possessed.

Sonu Nigam h collaborated with Wajid Khan on numerous projects in past starting with remix of Ye Kahan Aa Gaye Hum in 1996. Recalling Wajid Khan as a sensitive soul, Sonu Nigam said that he h done some legendary work in such a short time. Even a song like Hud Hud Dabangg h become a classy number with his talent. Sonu furr recalled Wajid's illness and revealed that latter h diabetes and h also undergone a kidney transplant but his condition h worsened in last few months.
Music composer Wajid Khan, of Sajid-Wajid fame, passed away at a city hospital in Mumbai. Reportedly, she is believed to have contracted to virus before late musician was infected with it.
