The launch of Chandrayaan 2 has turned a lot of attention towards space exploration in India. The Indian film industry is now stepping into the sci-fi genre and making amazing space exploration movies. Last year's Tamil space adventure movie 'Tik Tik Tik'  was a commercial success. It looks like Bollywood is going to start making space movies soon.

Is the Rakesh Sharma Biopic cast finalised? 

Astronaut Rakesh Sharma's biopic titled 'Saare Jahaan Se Achcha' has been talked about for quite some time now. The film had previously finalised Shah Rukh Khan as Rakesh Sharma but it was later revealed that he has opted out. After the failure of his last venture 'Zero' the actor has opted out from all previously finalised projects in order to make better decisions with his film choices. There have been several rumours that Shah Rukh Khan has walked out of the biopic to prepare for 'Don 3'

The very first choice of the movie was Aamir Khan. He stepped out of the movie for the rumoured magnum opus 'Mahabharat'. The film was later rumoured to have cast Ranbir Kapoor, who opted out due to his hectic schedules for 'Shamshera' and 'Brahmastra.'  Now rumours are saying that producers Ronnie Screwwala and Siddharth Roy Kapur were amazed by Vicky Kaushal’s performance in ‘URI: The Surgical Strike’ and have roped him in for the role. Apparently, Vicky has started preparing for the role already. He wishes to do justice the role of Rakesh Sharma.

Vicky Kaushal has become one of the most well-known actors in Bollywood with just a few movies under his bag. The actor had an amazing year with the successes of his movies 'Sanju' and 'URI: The Surgical Strike'. He was recently seen romancing Nora Fatehi in the 'Pachtaoge'  music video which currently has over 100 million views. The music video shows a tragic love story with soulful melody.

The Rakesh Sharma biopic is not expected to start production anytime soon. The director hasn't yet been finalised. The movie is speculated to showcase the journey of Rakesh Sharma from a common man to a celebrated astronaut.
