Actor Taapsee Pannu is all set for relaese of her upcoming drama film, Thapp. film will deal with topics of domestic violence. With film set to hit atres on February 28, 2020, Taapsee Pannu recently in an interview with a news ncy, said that she only understood meaning of patriarchy after she started working in Bollywood.

Taapsee Pannu has featured in several movies, including Pink, Mulk and Saand ki Aankh, that have discussed women empowerment in India. Her next film, Thapp, will do same and will show how a woman fights back against her abusive husband. In a recent interview with a news ncy, Taapsee Pannu stated that she only understood meaning of word patriarchy in recent years.

Taapsee Pannu furr stated that if far says you cant go out, you do t question that. Your mor may agree with you but she was just running house, so it did t matter. Taapsee Pannu said that parents wanted girls to be in house by 8 pm because guys could t control mselves. se small discriminations did t irk Taapsee until she started questioning m after she became a part of Indian film industry.

Furr in interview, Taapsee Pannu stated that small things about parity and pay parity were often igred but needed to be changed. However, she ded that you cant change that by just shouting that it was t right. According to Taapsee Pannu, you have to ensure that people started to recognise  change through your work. actor ded that current generation may t change, but next one surely will.

Taapsee Pannu also talked about power that cinema h. She revealed that reason she was working in films like Thapp was that she wanted to see a change and wanted to use her acting and status to make sure that it happened. She stated that while people might t agree, y will certainly listen to you if you reach out to m through films. 

Taapsee Pannu also discussed producer Tanuj Garg's comment, who called her Bollywood's female version of Ayushmann Khurrana. While Taapsee mired Tanuj and said that he was always supportive of her, she did t want to be called  female version of Ayushmann Khurrana. Inste, she wanted to be first Taapsee Pannu of industry.
