Taapsee Pannu, who is known for her contribution to the Telegu and Tamil film industry, has proved her mettle as an actor in Bollywood too. After the stupendous success of Mission Mangal, Taapsee’s recent release, Saand Ki Aankh has managed to mint in the moolah at the box office, as the action-entertainer recorded in decent numbers in theatres. The actor left the city in the wee hours of Monday morning, to visit the holy Golden Temple in Amritsar. Here are all the details.
Taapsee Pannu visits Golden Temple
Recently, many Bollywood celebrities like Vicky Kaushal, Aamir Khan, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh visited the Golden Temple in Punjab to pay their respects. Joining the club, actor Taapsee Pannu, too, left the city yesterday to visit the Golden Temple in Amritsar to seek the blessings of Lord Guru Nanak, post the success of Saand Ki Aankh. Expressing gratitude towards fans and loved ones, the actor shared the message with the caption 'Shukran', which means 'thank you' in Punjabi language. Take a look:
Taapsee Pannu's Saand Ki Aankh
Starring Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar in the leading roles, Saand Ki Aankh is based on the life of two sharpshooter octogenarians, Chandro Tomar and Prakashi Tomar. Released on October 25, Saand Ki Aankh raked in business of ₹ 22.36 crores till date. Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, the biographical film also stars actors like Prakash Jha, Vineet Kumar and Pawan Chopra in prominent roles.
