Netflix recently dropped trailer of ir upcoming female-centric movie Bombay Begums. show features Pooja Bhatt, Shahana Goswami, Amruta Subhash, Ahya Anand, and Plabita Borthakur. It revolves around 5 women who belong to different sections of society and focuses on ir struggle. Watch trailer.

trailer starts with Pooja Bhatt who is making a comeback to screen after many years. narration plays in background and it says, 'Some women are born to rule, we call m Queens.' n it pans out to all five leing lies and ir occupation. 2-minute trailer will take audience through struggle of five women. With undertone of becoming best version of mselves, story will show breakthrough point of women who face difficulties in ir journey to top.

Pooja Bhatt (Rani) plays role of a businesswoman who is powerful and rich. Amruta (Lily), on or hand, plays role of a bar dancer who wants to be respected in society. Sahana (Fatima) plays role of woman who wants to be promoted to highest position but her pregnancy comes in way. Ahya Anand (Shai) will play role of Rani's daughter who is a rebel and doesn't consider Rani as her mom. Lastly, Plabita (Ayesha) plays role of a corporate woman who wants to become a CEO.
trailer gives away plot of story of how a ro accident and a scandal will le se 5 women to cross each or's path. It also shows that characters will reach rock-bottom and make ir way to top by sacrificing and surviving. Concluding, Pooja Bhatt is quoted saying, "Survival is a battle for every woman".

Bombay Begums cast
Besides cast of five leing lies, show also features Rahul Bose, Danish Husain, Vivek Gomber, and Manish Chaudhari. It is written and directed by Alankrita Shrivastava who is also kwn for movies in similar genres such as Lipstick Under My Burkha and Dolly, and Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitaare. show will release on Netflix on March 8.
