Palash Sen's band Euphoria has completed 25 years of making music. It is widely regarded as one of the best and most popular indie-pop bands in the country. Dhoom Pichuk, Aa Bhi Jaa, Maaeri and Aana Bhi Meri Gali have been some of their most loved tracks whose popularity has lasted through the years. On the band's 25th anniversary, Palash expressed gratitude towards the fans and recalled how they got "no help" in Bollywood.
'People inside Bollywood who would have liked us to have finished 20 years back'
Euphoria was formed by Palash Sen in 1998 in Delhi. With the release of their debut album Dhoom in 1998, it became a household name. However, like other music bands, Euphoria could not get a break a Bollywood. Palash reflected on the band's journey and shared that they got no support from the film industry.
“Bollywood has not helped us at all, there has been no support, and I would say this clearly. In fact, there were people inside Bollywood who would have liked us to have finished 20 years back,” he told PTI.

He further recalled the band’s journey in the past 25 years and stated, “So 25 years of Euphoria is 25 years of great happiness, struggles, ups and downs, fights, laughter, music – everything has gone without a plan. I am grateful to God, and people of this country to have never let us down and never given up on us. And I am grateful for that.”
He added, “There has been support from the media, event managers, artist managers and we survived 25 years because people called us to do gigs, because we are live concert artists. That’s been the whole journey. And if you would ask me to describe it in one word, I would say it has been euphoric.”
Euphoria composed the soundtrack for a Malayalam film named Best of luck (2010). Their most recent track was Baavra, which released in 2021 in collaboration with Kyna Sen.
