Anupamaa actress’ lawyer, Sana Raees Khan, who also appeared on Bigg Boss 17, sent notice on her behalf. notice accuses Esha of making "false and damaging statements" and aims to protect Ganguly’s reputation.

In notice, Ganguly expressed shock at Esha’s posts and comments on social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook. She claims to have endured mental trauma, required medical assistance, and faced humiliation on set, along with lost professional opportunities.

According to notice, Ganguly initially intended to maintain a dignified silence but felt compelled to act after she and Ashwin Verma’s 11-year-old son were involved. Ganguly has demanded an unconditional public apology with compensation of ₹50 crore and even warned of furr legal action if this is not met.

notice also clarified that Ganguly was friends with Ashwin Verma for 12 years before he separated from his second wife, Esha’s mor, in 2009. Ganguly and her husband h previously tried to support Esha’s acting career by arranging photoshoots and auditions.
