Dua Lipa excited to share stage with Katy Perry at OnePlus Music Festival

The mobile technology giant One Plus is organising its first edition of the OnePlus Music Festival on November 16, 2019. The show is expected to be one of the grandest music shows to have ever been organised in India. The lineup of the show includes American pop singer Katy Perry and British pop singer Dua Lipa.

Dua Lipa is excited to share the stage with Katy Perry

Dua Lipa, in a recent post on social media, shared her excitement to share the stage besides Katy Perry. Although the singer has performed in India before, this will be the first time she will be performing in front of the Roar singer. She shared pictures of her previous trip to India and captioned them as “So excited to go back to India this week!! I’ve never had the chance to perform infront of you and i’m excited to share the stage with sweeet mutha KPez @katyperry !!!! Yaaaaay x”.

In the first picture, the New Rules singer is seen in a blue saree with her head covered while she offers prayers in a temple. The second picture was a random picture of a few vehicles halted in the traffic and it looks like the picture was taken from a car window. In the last picture, Dua Lipa is seen in casual attire and enjoying the sun at a quiet beach.

Dua Lipa released her first song, New Love, in 2015 after signing up with the Warner Music Group. Her most popular songs include One Kiss with Calvin Harris, which also reached the number one position in the UK and went on to become the longest-running number one for a female artist in 2018. She is the recipient of two Grammy Awards and three BRIT Awards.

It is probably the first time that a technology company has organised a music event of this scale in India. Singer Amit Trivedi will also be accompanying Katy Perry and Dua Lipa on the stage. OnePlus aims to bring together a community of music enthusiasts together with the festival. Carl Pei, the co-founder of OnePlus, has reportedly said that it will be quite a show.
