A 106-year-old woman from Thane, Maharashtra defeated coronavirus disease and was discharged from hospital after fully recovering on September 20. woman named Anandibai Patil h tested positive for dely disease 10 days back and was mitted to Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) hospital for treatment. After she was handed discharge certificate on Sunday, woman displayed it to media and seemed very happy about going back home.

A video shared by news ncy ANI showed woman dancing with happiness in background while her daughter-in-law talked to media. Her daughter-in-law thanked hospital staff for taking proper care of centenarian and helping her defeat disease. Initially, hospital was rey to mit woman due to her and that's when KDMC took her in for treatment, said daughter-in-law. dedicated COVID-19 treatment facility at KDMC was inaugurated in July by Maharashtra government.
