The theme song of the Greater Western Sydney Giants, an Australian Football League (AFL) team, became the latest meme on Twitter. Some fans used the theme song in a different context of sitcoms which made it viral. The 2019 AFL Grand Final is scheduled on September 28 and the GWS Giants released their theme song ahead of the clash. The song ‘There’s a Big Big Sound’ started trending after the tune was used in a hilarious manner.

Simpsons, Friends, and The Office memes

AFL fans used the theme song in the video clips of sitcoms like Simpsons, Friends, and The Office. They started tweeting their video version of the song with hashtag #bigbigsound and #NeverSurrender.

Giants loses at the big stage

Although, Richmond Football Club defeated the Giants in the Final to claim 12th premiership. The final score read - Richmond FC 17.12 (114) and GWS Giants 3.7 (25). After the loss, the Orange Army took to Twitter to applaud the opponents, “Tigers far too good. They deserve this one.” “Thank you to our amazing fans for a wonderful year of support in 2019, and to the many members of the Orange Army for making it to the MCG today. Unfortunately it wasn’t our day. We’ll be back bigger and better in 2020,” they tweeted.
