'The Tonight Show' hosts 'Parasite' director Bong Joon Ho marking his U.S. talk show debut

'The Tonight Show' recently hosted 'Parasite' director Bong Joon Ho as their guest. The celebrated director talked about his movie and its positive reception.

Parasite director Bong Joon Ho debuts on ' Tonight Show'

Parasite is one of most talked-about movies this year. film has been minated for 'Best Foreign Langu Film', 'Best Screenplay of a Motion Picture', and 'Best Director of a Motion Picture' categories. After overwhelming reception that film has received, director of film Bong Joon Ho me his U.S. talk show debut on Tonight Show.

During his appearance on Tonight Show, Bong Joon talked about positive response his movie has been receiving and about  three Golden Globes minations film received. Parasite director arrived with a translator during his appearance on Tonight Show. However, director refrained from spilling any more details about film while describing it. He said that he would like to say as little as possible during his appearance on Tonight Show as " film is best when you go into it cold".

Due to his discretion regarding film,  Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon reminded Bong Joon Ho that he was on a talk show. director responded by stating that plot of film is a story about a family. Jimmy Fallon mentioned that film received  Palme d’Or hour at Cannes Film Festival and also received an eight-minute standing ovation. Jimmy n questioned Parasite director on why he told crowd ‘let’s go home’ after receiving standing ovation.

Bong Joon Ho responded by stating that standing ovation lasted very long but he and actors were very hungry because y hn't eaten dinner. He explained that y all were telling each or that y were hungry, so y ended up subtitling it in video. Since clapping continued, director finally decided to go home.
