Mohanlal starrer 'Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham's' producer shares a bittersweet note

Malayalam movie Marakkar: Arabikalinte Simham's co-producer, Roy CJ, recently shared an update regarding film's release. Mohanlal starrer was supposed to hit marquee in March 2020; however, due to pandemic, film's release was pushed indefinitely.

Expressing his sness over delay in release of Marakkar: Arabikalinte Simham, he said, "I'm s that film did t release on 26 March 2020 due to COVID. But, I'm also happy that film did t release during pandemic and n suddenly vanish from atres due to lockdown."

Marakkar: Arabikalinte Simham  costliest Malayalam movie? 

Marakkar: Arabikalinte Simham, starring Mohanlal and Manju Warrier is le, is reportedly one of most expensive movies of Mollywood. Priyarshan-directorial is reportedly me on budget on 100 crores. forthcoming film also features actors like Suniel Shetty, Keerthy Suresh, Prabhu, Pranav Mohanlal, Kalyani Priyarshan, among ors in prominent roles. Marakkar: Arabikalinte Simham's trailer was released a few months ago, amping up expectations of moviegoers.

Mohanlal starrer is reportedly set to release next year after coronavirus situation subsides. Marakkar: Arabikandalinte Simham is bankrolled by Antony Perumbavoor, Santhosh T. Kuruvilla, and Roy C. J. under ir production banner respectively.

What's next for Mohanlal? 

Mohanlal will be next seen in Jeethu Joseph's Ram. movie, starring Mohanlal, Trisha in le, also has Durga Krishna and Indrajith Sukumaran in pivotal roles. Besides upcoming film, Mohanlal will be reuniting Marakkar: Arabikandalinte Simham producer Antony Perumbavoor for sequel of ir hit movie Drishyam (2013). film, starring Mohanlal and Meena in le, was reported to be one of highest-grossing movies of Malayalam cinema. 

Drishyam 2 is helmed by Jeethu Joseph and is currently in scripting st. reafter, Mohanlal has Prithviraj's L2: Empuraan, and his directorial venture - Barroz: Guardian of D'Gama's Treasures in pipeline.
