Rubina Dilaik begins shooting for Punjabi film debut Chal Bhajj Chaliye, shares set photo

Rubina Dilaik is all set to make her Punjabi film debut. The television actress, who has also dabbled in short films and an under-the-radar OTT film, will finally be making her debut in the Punjabi film industry. Dilaik shared a photo from the first day on set, commemorating the moment.

Rubina Dilaik begins shooting for Punjabi film debut

Rubina took to her Instagram handle to share a solo picture of herself holding on to the clapboard for film, Chal Bhajj Chaliye. Also in the picture was singer Inder Chahal, opposite whom Rubina will be making her debut. The picture also featured other principal cast and crew members.

The actress captioned the post, "Grateful for the new beginnings." This will not be the first feature film Rubina has been a part of. The Shakti actress made her Hindi film debut with 2022 OTT release Ardh. She was paired opposite Rajpal Yadav in the film. Prior to this, she had starred in short film, Bareilly Ki Beti: The Youngest Survivor which was released in 2020. The short film had been notably directed by her husband Abhinav Shukla.

In other news, the actress recently made headlines when a transition reel posted by the actress led to speculations about her possibly being pregnant. The pregnancy speculations received further fuel when fans pointed out how the actress had been covering her belly with a pillow in pictures previously shared by the actress to her Instagram stories. Neither Rubina, nor husbnad Abhinav Shukla have addressed these rumours yet.
