Nayanthara Vs Dhanush: A couple of days before the premiere of the Netflix documentary Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale, actress Nayanthara hit out at Dhanush in a scathing open letter for sending her a lawsuit for using a three-second clip from the 2015 movie Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in the documentary. Nayanthara said she would "respond to it befittingly through lawful means". However, hitting back at the Kubera star, the actress' husband Nayanthara posted the controversial clip on Instagram with a message for the former.

After Nayanthara's letter in which she accused film producer Dhanush of "denying" her an NOC for using the Naanum Rowdy Dhaan clip in her Netflix documentary, Vignesh shared the clip in question on Instagram and wrote, "The ₹10 crore clip that wants to be taken down from our Netflix documentary." He accompanied the clip with the message, "Spread love sir," seemingly referring to Dhanush.

The clip was originally shared by Vignesh on Instagram in 2020. It shows him in a conversation with Nayanthara on the sets of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. Nayanthara featured in it as the leading lady opposite Vijay Sethupathi, with Vignesh as director and Dhanush as producer.

What do we know about the Netflix documentary Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale?

The documentary on South superstar Nayanthara will be released on November 18, coinciding with her 40th birthday. Titled Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairy Tale, film will dive into the extraordinary life of the actor from her modest beginnings to the heights of her illustrious career across different industries in the South and Hindi. Nayanthara tied the knot with filmmaker Vignesh Shivan in 2022 in a traditional ceremony at a five-star hotel in Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu.

The star-studded wedding was attended by Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Chiranjeevi, Suriya, Ajith, Karthi, Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, among others. Unseen glimpses from the wedding ceremony will also be featured in the documentary.
