Urvashi Dholakia goes down memory lane with Dekh Bhai Dekh video, leaves stars nostalgic

Andaz Apna Apna completed 25 years a few days ago, and sent fans down memory lane with their special moments related to the film. While the humour stood of that era stood out on the big screen, it was actually the small screen where a similar kind of humour made several shows popular. Dekh Bhai Dekh was one such show along with the likes of Zabaan SambalKe, Hum Paanch and many others that people of that era won’t mind ‘binge-watching’, a term that didn’t exist at that time. Many might also not be aware that Urvashi Dholakia, known for the portrayal of the vamp Komolika, was also a part of the comedy show. The actor took a nostalgia trip by sharing one of her clips from the show, leaving other TV stars overwhelmed too.

Urvashi Dholakia, who played the character of Shilpa in Dekh Bhai Dekh, shared on Instagram two videos of a scene where she arrives in the Diwani house. She is shocked to find Kirti, played by Natassha Singh, acting as Sanju and Sanju, essayed by Vishal Singh, as Kirti. After getting herself fully confused with one of the other characters talking about a ‘game,’ she is finally relieved to know what it is all about. Some of the veteran members of the cast, NK Shivpuri, Sushma Seth and Bhavna Balsavar, who played the characters of Durgadas Diwan, Sarla Diwan and Sunita Diwan respectively, are seen eavesdropping on the moments. Urvashi termed it as 'throwback time' and used hashtags like "#dekhbhaidekh #shilpa #memories #fun #loveit #lifeisbeautiful #blessed #❤️ #actorforlife #borntoact  #backtoschooldays" :Watch the video here:

Urvashi’s fellow stars from the TV industry like Narayani Shastri and Pooja Banerjee were those who expressed their feelings on watching the clip. The former wrote, “My most favourite show❤” while the latter, who also gained popularity for Kasautii Zindagii Kay like Urvashi did with her iconic portrayal of Komolika, shared, “Oh my God.. I watched this on loop 🤓.”

What’s Urvashi up to? 

Meanwhile, Urvashi Dholakia recently made headlines for her appearance on Nach Baliye 9. She had featured on the show alongside her ex Anuj Sachdeva. They, however, could not go the distance and the winners of the show were Prince Narula and Yuvika Chaudhary. Also, Urvashi made it to headlines when Hina Khan and now, Aamna Sharif played Komolika in the second season.
