Fact Check: A picture circulating on the internet claims to be of the buses that were arranged by Priyanka Gandhi for migrants to ferry them to Uttar Pradesh.

One of major problems that India is facing since time coronavirus lockdown has been anunced is large scale migrations of all daily-w workers and poverty-driven families back to ir homelands. Many migrants were stuck in major cities and towns during lockdown and thus started to walk back home, t caring about kilometres in between. government along with or political parties are trying to help out se migrants so that y reach ir respective homes safely.

A photo of a long line of buses standing in one line surfaced on internet. Along with it, re was a claim that Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi has set 1000 buses for migrants to reach ir homes in state of Uttar Presh. re was mention of place where picture was taken and from where migrants will be taken. Here is post shared by a Facebook user talking about buses by Priyanka Gandhi:

A Google reverse im search reveals that picture used in this picture is actually from 2019 Kumbh Mela. UP government h me a Guinness Record of having largest pare of buses. picture was used by a news site to share this piece of information with people. picture was taken in Prayagraj and it covered a stretch of 3.2 km in city. Here is a tweet by ANI UP from 2019 that has this picture:

UP buses by Priyanka Gandhi was a Kumbh Mela im from 2019

While picture used for this post was incorrect, fact that Priyanka Gandhi has arranged buses for migrants to travel to Uttar Presh is true. Gandhi h requested  Chief Minister of Uttar Presh, Yogi ityanath to have se buses run between ida and Ghaziab. Priyanka Gandhi's 1000 buses were given approval by CM Yogi to enter Uttar Presh, ferrying a large number of migrants back to ir homes.
