In a series of tweets, Swaraj affirmed that eight blasts have taken place and that she spoke to Foreign Minister of Sri Lanka H.E. Mr.Tilak Marapana who confirmed passing of 207 people.

She furr revealed that National Hospital has informed about death of three Indian nationals and that furr details are being ascertained.

Moreover, India has extended humanitarian assistance to Sri Lanka and offered to dispatch India's medical teams.
