Akhilesh Yadav offers to help UP CM Yogi Adityanath fight COVID by mobilising SP cadre

Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav on Friday offered to help to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in distributing Coronavirus Relief material.

Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav on Friday offered to help to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in distributing Corona-relief materials.

In a statement, SP chief said that if state government is ready to rise above political lines, n his party workers will help is distributing essential commodities to people in rural areas. He furr stated that SP will also help in distribution of mid-day meals.

Akhilesh has asked state government to disclose current total amount of food grains and to provide succour to farmers who were unable to harvest due to lack of labour. According to him, farmers are worried about selling ir crops amid lockdown situation. He furr urged government to address situation.

Uttar Pradesh government on Thursday said that salaries of its employees will neir be deferred r cut amid coronavirus lockdown and its impact on revenues. Additional Chief Secretary Awanish Awasthi quoted Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and stated that  condition of state’s ecomy is strong and it would deal with challenge posed by pandemic, without pay cut of employees. re would be cut or deferment in salaries of state government employees, Awasthi said, quoting chief minister.

Coronavirus crisis

As per latest figures, re are over 2060 coronavirus positive cases in India. While 53 deaths have been reported overall, 156 people have also been cured/discharged/migrated.
