Union Home Minister Amit Shah has spoken on Political situation in Maharashtra for first time since President's rule was imposed in state on recommendation of Goverr. Speaking to ANI on Wednesday, Home Minister and President of BJP said,
"Before this, in state was so much time given,18 days were given. Goverr invited parties only after assembly tenure ended. Neir Shiv Sena r Congress-NCP staked claim&neir we. Even if today any party has numbers it can approach Goverr. #Maharashtra"

'New Demands t acceptable for us'
BJP President speaking on collapse of alliance with Shiv Sena said, "Before elections Prime Minister and I said many times in public that if our alliance wins n Devendra Fnavis will be CM, one objected back n. w y have come up with new demands which are t acceptable to us ." He also said that BJP has t betrayed mandate of people. " President's rule has resulted in a loss to BJP as our sitting Chief Minister was caretaker of state. Opposition has thing to lose." Amit Shah ded, "Even today if anyone has numbers y can approach Goverr. Goverr has t denied chance to anyone. A learned lawyer like Kapil Sibal is putting forth childish arguments like ‘we were denied a chance to form Government."

NCP w eyes New Year deline for Maharashtra govt formation
Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leer Ajit Pawar on Wednesday stated that "Before New Year, new government should be formed." Furrmore, NCP leer said, "We have formed a committee which includes representatives of Congress party. We have requested to meet and discuss issue as early as possible." Coming to a conclusion with Common Minimum Programme with Shiv Sena, Pawar said, "We can talk and come to a conclusion but we need to see how talks are carried out with Sena. Before new year, new govt should be formed."

President Rule in Maharashtra
President Ram Nath Kovind, on Tuesday, accepted Maharashtra Goverr's recommendation and implemented President's rule in state. Ministry of Home Affairs has confirmed that w Maharashtra assembly is under suspended animation after President officially signed order. If party stakes claim within six months, fresh elections will be held in state. Earlier, Goverr h confirmed that he h recommended same and submitted a report to President, via MHA, according to provisions of Art. 356 of Constitution. Goverr is of opinion that party - be it BJP, Shiv Sena, Congress or NCP can give a stable government in state.
