Ayodhya Verdict: MHA keeping close watch on security arrangements
The MHA is closely monitoring the security situation across India and especially Uttar Pradesh following the Supreme Court's verdict on the Ayodhya dispute

Ministry of Home Affairs is monitoring security situation across India following Supreme Court's decision on Ayodhya case. security situation across country and especially in Uttar Presh has been reviewed by MHA. According to sources, an visory has also been issued to all states to keep an eye on sensitive areas.
Tight security arrangements in Uttar Presh
Uttar Presh Police have me strong arrangements to maintain law and order situation in state. "Special vigil is being maintained on more than 670 persons on social media. According to Uttar Presh Deputy General of Police OP Singh, central Government has provided 40 companies of security forces to ensure peace in state.

"Special Vigil is being maintained on more than 670 persons on social media. Police will t hesitate in stopping internet services if need arises, " deputy general said. DGP also said, temporary provisions have been me in places and y are keeping a close eye on 31 sensitive areas.
"Apart from this around 1200 constables,250 constables,250 sub-inspectors,11 ditional superintendents of police (SP),20 deputy SP and 2 SP level officials have been deployed," he said.

'A close watch on Social media'
Earlier, Uttar Presh DGP said, UP Police is keeping a close watch on social media and has also appealed t to post communal posts on social media.

"Internet services have been scrapped in one district for 24 hours. Seventy-six cases have been registered,42 people have been arrested and we have recommended blocking of 670 social media accounts,” said DGP.

Delivering landmark judgment in Ayodhya dispute case, Supreme Court on Saturday, delivered a unanimous judgment in title suit of disputed area awarding it to Hindu parties for construction of a temple. It also directed Centre to come up with a scheme within three months to set up a trust which will hand over outer courtyard and inner courtyard of site for construction of a temple. Apart from this, SC stated that an alternate land of 5 acres is to be allotted to Muslims for liberty of constructing a mosque, eir by central govt or State govt, in a suitable and prominent place in Ayodhya. CJI Ranjan Gogoi, while delivering unanimous judgment, dismissed claims of Sunni Central Waqf Board and Nirmohi Akhara. He also termed that three-way division of disputed land by Allahab HC in its 2010 verdict is wrong.
Following verdict, State Chief Secretary and UP DGP mselves will be on ground zero to monitor situation. Section 144 has been imposed all over Uttar Presh and Schools and Colleges and or educational institutions are to remain closed in Uttar Presh for three days. According to sources, Chief Minister Yogi ityanath is in a 'rey to move' position. Apart from this, 9 helicopters have been arranged for urgent movement basis while 3 separate choppers will be me available for aerial monitoring. Drones are being used in sensitive areas to monitor any suspicious activity.
