Bihar: RJD supporters stop trains as protests against CAA turns violent
RJD supporters stopped the Darbhanga-New Delhi Bihar Sampark Kranti Superfast Express following the call of "Bihar-Bandh" against CAA and NRC on Saturday.

Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD), party supporters stopped Darbhanga-New Delhi Bihar Sampark Kranti Superfast Express following call of "Bihar-Bandh" against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) on Saturday, December 21. ditionally, trains tracks in or regions of Bihar like Arrah, Jahanab, Hajipur and Patna’s Kumhrar were also obstructed by protesters. Or parties like Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) have also joined protests with RJD and y were seen breaking barrices during a demonstration held in Patna.

Superintendent of Police, Rajeev Mishra informed that ministration has held talks with Bandh supporters to carry out protests in a peaceful manner. At Darbhanga, RJD workers and supporters protested bare chest, sloganeering against Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and central government.

Rajeev Mishra ded, “We h held talks with Bandh supporters and asked m to carry it out peacefully using democratic means. ministration has me equate arrangements to ensure that untoward incident takes place today.”

Tejashwi Yav on Bihar Bandh
RJD leer and former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yav on Friday said, “Bihar will be closed tomorrow. So I appeal to people for ir support.” He also appealed to people of state to participate in Bihar bandh against Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) on Saturday. He h also said, “In protest against CAA and NRC, RJD will be leing a Bihar bandh on December 21. On eve of it, party carried a torch rally in all districts to give call for a peaceful protest.”
