BJP MLAs express happiness over 36-hour long special UP Assembly
BJP MLAs expressed their happiness over attending the 36-hours special Uttar Pradesh Assembly session on the occasion of Gandhi's 150th birth anniversary.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLAs expressed their happiness on Thursday over attending the 36-hour-long special Uttar Pradesh Assembly session on Wednesday, celebrating Mahatma Gandhi's 150th birth anniversary. According to reports, the discussions in the assembly focused on the development goals of the state. The special assembly was held on Wednesday.
UP MLAs express happiness
According to Shashank Trivedi, an MLA from Maholi in Sitapur district, a group of three MLAs was made, and each group sat for three hours each. He stated that they did not face any problem as this was for the development of the people and for the country, and also thanked CM Yogi Adityanath for holding a meeting. Another MLA from Sitapur Gyan Tiwari stated that their main focus is to uplift the poor and farmers in society. He also added that even though the session was 36-hours long, it was not tiring as everyone is making efforts to achieve the development goals for the country. On the other hand, opposition parties from the states including the Samajwadi Party (SP), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and the Congress decided to boycott the special session. They called it as BJP's attempt to make great leaders a part of its heritage.

Congress MLA Aditi Singh attends UP Assembly
Congress MLA from Raebareli (Sadar) Aditi Singh, breaking away from the party line, attended the special 36-hour session of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly on Wednesday. Even though Congress was boycotting the session, Congress MLA Singh not only attended the proceedings in the session but also spoke in the House.
