'Christians are soft targets of love jihad' claims NCM VC Kurian
George Kurian, the Vice-Chairman of NCM, wrote a letter to Amit Shah about alleged 'love jihad' in Kerala & Christians girls being a soft target to it.

Vice-Chairman of National Commission for Minorities, George Kurian, wrote to the Union Home Minister, Amit Shah about alleged 'love jihad' in Kerala. The VC claimed that many Christian girls in Kozhikode, Kerala have become the targets of 'love jihad' and are being used for terror activities. In the letter written to the Home Minister, Kurian said, "The spate of organised religious conversions and using the victims for terror activities by trapping them through 'love jihad' has shown that the Christian community is a soft target for Islamic radicals."

Christian Girls Abducted in Kozhikode and Delhi
George Kurian further added by saying that he had recently received complaints from the parents in Kozhikode and Delhi who said that their daughters were abducted or raped. In a Delhi case, the girl was kidnapped and currently is in west Asia. In a Kozhikode case, CCTV footage revealed a man forcibly taking away a girl. Sources also claimed that the girl was raped by the same man. A police inquiry is going on for both cases but in the Kozhikode case, the culprit hasn't been arrested yet. "The parents have approached me and in both the complaints the parents are claiming some terrorist being behind such activities," George Kurian said.

The NCM Vice-Chairman has demanded an investigation to curb such activities in his letter to Amit Shah. The VC claims that since 2009 many Christian girls have been converted to Islam in Kerala and that it is a fraudulent conversion as they aren't converting to Islam but terrorism, sources reported. Kurian also added that in 2012 many people have joined ISIS from Kerala out of those people some were converted from Christianity. He said that almost all of them have been killed now.
