On Thursday, October 17, Congress MLA iti Singh met Uttar Presh Chief Minister Yogi ityanath and said her meeting was related to developmental works in her constituency Raebareli Sar. While speaking to news ncy ANI, she said, "I h taken an appointment with Chief Minister for Thursday. He usually gives time to MLAs on this day in week. I came to meet him in connection with work of my constituency."
iti Singh on show-cause tice issued by Congress
Speaking about show-cause tice issued by her party for attending special Assembly session on October 2, Congress MLA said that she stands by her earlier statement. "I took decision to go to assembly session because Uttar Presh qualifies for 16 of 17 sustainable development goals set by United Nations. I wanted to talk about it. I wanted to talk about development," she h earlier said.

iti Singh supported BJP-led Central government's decisions
iti Singh, Congress MLA from Raebareli (Sar), h supported BJP-led central government's move to abrogate Article 370 of Constitution that granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir and she went against her party for second time by attending special Assembly session called in by Yogi ityanath government in Uttar Presh. While most of opposition parties including Congress, Samajwi Party (SP) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) decided to boycott event, Singh t only decided to go ahe with it but also presented active participation during session. She spoke about issues relating to sanitation and drinking water that she said people were facing in her constituency.

Rumours that she might join BJP
Surprisingly, t only did Singh attend BJP-organised event, but she also maintained a safe distance from a peace march that was led by Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vra in Luckw on occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. Her presence during session sparked up rumours of her changing sides soon since she’s been seen supporting Modi-led government in its decisions. However, official statement has come about it yet.
