Owaisi tells CM Yogi to bring cop-killing Kanpur gangster Dubey in alive; no 'Thok Denge'

Criticizing Uttar Presh Government over Kanpur encounter, AIMIM chief Asuddin Owaisi on Saturday said that because of state's govt 'Thok Denge' policy, eight police personnel were killed in incident.
Owaisi said, "What happened in Kanpur, complete blame and responsibility lies with Uttar Presh Chief Minister Yogi ityanath. As he started killing in name of 'Thok Denge' policy, that is, killing people in name of encounter."

'Change policy of Thok Denge'
AIMIM chief requesting CM said, "It is high time that he (Chief Minister Yogi) should change policy of 'Thok Denge'. We cant run country or state on basis of rule by 'Gun'. You run a Country and a State on basis of Constitution, on basis of law."
"It was because of 'Thok Denge' Policy, a criminal on whom 60 cases have been registered and whose bail was t cancelled by police and Government, has killed all se police officers. Owaisi n asked Yogi ityanath to make sure that this criminal "Vikas Dubey should be arrested and should t be killed in name of encounter".
"A special force should be formed and Yogi ityanath led-government should ensure that this criminal should be convicted for killing se brave police officers and given severest of punishment only n it would be a victory of democracy and Constitution," Owaisi said ding, "If state government inste of arresting, kill Dubey n re won't be any difference between person who killed all police officers and government."

'Operation Clean'
Meanwhile, swinging into action after brutal deaths of men, 25 police teams fanned out across Uttar Presh and or states to hunt down Dubey, wanted in 60 criminal cases, and his associates, PTI quoted officials as saying. Police officials also said a surveillance team was scanning over 500 mobile phones and frantic efforts were on to retrieve information from devices.

CM ityanath on Saturday held a virtual conference with all police zones to discuss law and order situation in state. ityanath reportedly planned to fix a timeline to nab such gangsters and instructed police on 'Operation Clean' to prevent casualties during raids or encounters.

Chief Minister h rushed to Kanpur on Friday to meet family members of slain policemen and anunced financial assistance of Rs 1 crore each to bereaved families.
