Two PILs filed in SC, seek CBI probe in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case

PILs have been filed in the SC seeking a CBI probe into the death case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput who was found dead at his residence in Mumbai.

Two public interest litigations (PILs) have been filed in Supreme Court on Tuesday seeking a CBI probe into death case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput who was found de at his residence in suburban Bandra in Mumbai on June 14.

two PILs, one by BJP leer and lawyer Ajay Agrawal and or by a Mumbai-based law student Dwivendra Devteen Dubey, have been filed during day when Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has taken an important decision recommending Centre CBI inquiry in sensational case after actor's far me request for it.

Agrawal, who has been pursuing a politically sensitive Bofors scam case in apex court, has filed PIL seeking a direction to CBI to take up “ investigation in death of Sushant Singh and events which led to untimely death” of actor.

“That on June 14, Sushant Singh Rajput, an upcoming Bollywood film star, was found de in mysterious circumstances. Mumbai police immediately declared it a case of suicide. But body could swallow this ory of suicide of a bright carrier upcoming star who played a le role in film of ‘M.S. Dhoni…,” plea said.

Seeking CBI probe, BJP leer who h contested 2014 Lok Sabha elections against Congress President Sonia Gandhi from Rae Bareli, also referred to news that Rajput’s live-in partner Rhea Chakraborty “h withdrawn Rs 15 Crore from account of Sushant Singh Rajput out of total Rs. 17 Crores balance in his account.”

On similar lines, law student has sought transfer of FIR, lodged by actor's far Krishan Kishore Singh at Rajiv Nagar police station in Patna to eir to CBI or NIA to ensure that investigation is carried out “impartially, effectively and efficiently”.

However, it is important to te that a bench heed by Chief Justice S Bobde, on July 30, h junked a similar PIL seeking transfer of probe into Rajput''s death case from Mumbai police to CBI.

"Go to Bombay High Court if you have anything concrete to show," court h said while dismissing PIL.

Rajput, d 34, was found hanging from ceiling of his apartment in suburban Bandra in Mumbai on June 14 and since n Mumbai police has been probing case keeping in mind various angles.
