Karkardooma Court on Monday has rejected  bail plea of suspended AAP Councillor Tahir Hussain. Hussain is in judicial custody since 16 March in connection with communal violence in rast Delhi.

" riots in area of rth-East Delhi were carried out in an organized manner and as part of deep-rooted conspiracy and involvement of applicant is being investigated upon with regard to his connection with members of PFI, Pinjratod, Jamia Co-ordination Committee, United Against Hate Group and anti-CAA protesters," court ted in its order while rejecting bail plea.

bail was sought by Hussain on grounds that re was cogent evidence which was admissible in  eyes of law, to connect him in alleged murder of Ankit Sharma. His advocate had also contended that re was a delay in recording statements U/s 161 Cr.P.C of witnesses as well as statements of 164 Cr.P.C. 

"My client has t been identified in TIP proceedings. re is evidence by way of video foot or CCTV foot to prove that applicant was present at scene of crime at time of incident. Furr, re is evidence of abetment or conspiracy to kill Ankit," Advocate Javed Ali who appeared for Tahir had contended.

bail plea was strongly opposed by prosecution.  court had also mentioned in order copy that witnesses can be threatened by accused. 

"It is apparent that witnesses, whose statements have been recorded are residents of same locality and y can easily be threatened by a powerful person like Thair Hussain," court ted it's ordered.  court has also mentioned that even if re is video foot or CCTV foot, showing presence of accused at spot, but re is eugh ocular evidence available on record.
