Priyanka Vadra aide Ajay Lallu arrested amid protest to let buses into UP from Rajasthan

Uttar Pradesh Congress chief Ajay Kumar Lallu on Tuesday was arrested by Agra Police in connection with protest by party leaders over issue of movement of buses arranged by Congress for migrant labourers, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Agra informed.
UP Congress chief was dragged and removed by police from Agra-Rajasthan border in Uncha Nangla area where he had std a sit-in protest demanding that buses his party had arranged to ferry back migrants to ir homes, be allowed to enter Uttar Pradesh.

"A case is being registered under sections 188 and 269 of IPC and Epidemic Act in Fatehpur Sikri Police station in connection with incident. Two persons - Ajay Singh Lallu and Vivek Bansal - have been arrested," SSP Babloo Kumar said.
Earlier, an FIR was also registered against Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's personal secretary Sandeep Singh and party's Uttar Pradesh chief Lallu in Hazratganj Police station of Luckw on Tuesday.

Priyanka Vadra Alleges Buses Blocked At UP Border
Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Tuesday requested Uttar Pradesh government to allow 897 buses arranged by her party to run. Mentioning that migrant workers were in a lot of distress, she claimed that UP administration had blocked more than 500 buses for several hours at Uncha Nagla border. In video posted by her, state Congress chief Ajay Singh Lallu and or party officials are seen talking to UP police officials demanding buses to be allowed entry into state.

Moreover, Vadra added that more than 300 buses were on way to Delhi border. Conceding that only 897 out of list of 1049 buses had been found auntic by UP government after a probe, she promised that Congress would send a new list of 200 buses on Wednesday. Highlighting that three days had been wasted in political tussle, she contended that many migrant workers were breathing ir last while walking on road.

Congress-UP govt tussle over 1000 buses
On May 16, Priyanka Vadra wrote to UP CM Yogi Adityanath, urging him to permit Congress party to run 1,000 buses to ferry migrant workers back to ir native place. UP administration accepted this request on Monday, asking opposition party to send buses to Luckw by 10 am on Tuesday.
